Italian restaurant, off the A30 close to Wentworth and the turn for Virginia Water. Large car park. Good menu with range of pasta and pizzas. Food is good quality and delicious although I wished the portions were slighly larger! Quite expensive for this type of restaurant and clearly aims itself towards the top end of the market. Great wine list. Nice outdoor seating area for use in summer although the A30 can be a little noisy. All in all a nice restaurant and very prompt friendly service.
Very pleasant indeed-lovely atmosphere. Helps that all the staff were Italian in an Italian restaurant! Vast selection of wines, impressive selection if mains. Everything was spot on-the platter to share was sufficient and the veal was very good. Would happily go there again. One criticism, they served the platter before we had any plates and one side was served late. Minor but those two things dropped it down from a 5* review. Highly recommendable.
Had another good meal here, the staff are efficient and friendly. The food is fresh and tasty and portions good. Have eaten here several times and food and service have always been good.
Second review of this restaurant I left off a star last time because the place was not busy so couldn't tell if they would be as attentive if they were busy. Well as you can tell by the fact I have awarded 5 stars they were. We went to the restaurant on a Friday evening and the place was very busy. We were greeted and as we had not booked (I would advise you to do so) we had a 20 minute wait for a table. We were shown to a seating area and offered drinks while we waited. We were then shown to our table and met our waiter Damien. The evening was fantastic the food excellent the service excellent, all the staff were helpful and friendly. Damien, our waiter was attentive but not intrusive, he was knowledgable and provided assistance with the menu when needed. The food as I said was fantastic with the pizzas being an excellent choice. I would recommend Piccolino to anyone, it is a top restaurant and has proved that they deserve the 5 stars (and more) with a tick in every box and not a single negative point on either of my visits. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.... Well done Piccolino.
