Konoba Kantun - Vis

There are not too many meals to choose from, but the swordfish and potatoes we ordered were prepared to perfection. Service was very pleasant. Note, they have an amazing garden inside, about which we didn't know about so we sat outside the restaurant. Service: Dine in

First night on Vis and we found this place quickly on Google maps. All of the tables at the front stated reserved, but as we were only 2 they squeezed us in. They also have a garden area, which also looked a delightful place to eat. They have a very small menu, but what they do, they do very well. They offer a nice range of freshly caught fish, that they bring to the table to show you and explain how they will cut it and cook it. We actually went for the fillet steak as I was craving beef and my wife had the cuttlefish risotto. Both excellent. The service deserves a special mention, as they explain everything and will adapt pretty much anything to accommodate your choices. When it came to the wine, I asked if he could recommend a local red wine. When he brought the 2 glasses, he said we can change them if they weren't to our taste! We also had a dessert, which was described as cake. It wasn't cake as we in the UK would know it, but a really chocolatey, deep filled pastry tart. It also had nuts in it...DELICIOUS!
