Black Bear Diner - Visalia

Like the food and the atmosphere a lot, however the service needs improvement. Our server Christina seemed a little intrusive and could have been friendlier. It is very rare that I will not tip for service but Christina was an exception because I felt she needed much better customer service skills. Still food and atmosphere is great.

Not happy. Usually great food was delivered overcooked and dry. Hardly and gravy on the steak or biscuits. I know the food is usually great, thats what makes this experience even more disappointing.

This is a great diner for delicious food and generous portions at a very fair price. They have a very attentive staff and can be employed especially during peak hours. The bear theme is fun and the whole restaurant. I especially enjoyed the Huckleberry shake, that's not a leak I can get in my own state.

Fabulous restaurant with the best bacon I've ever had. Absolutely love the decor and the atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and the plate was full. The cinnamon roll French toast was amazing.

WOW! No complaints from my family. The food was absolutely delicious large portions I would say. My little one lived the cube pancake plate with fruit. My husband's corn beef was different from what we had before! Fresh orange juice. I loved the caves. This is a popular breakfast place, it was a line outside. We sat in 25 minutes. That's it!
