Chonitas - Visalia

This is one of my favorite places. It's hard to find this kind of service anymore! The cook even says HI!! They are fast and friendly! The prices are amazing. You could be starving or just want a quick bite and no matter what you'll leave here happy! It's a small blue building on the corner of court and race Ave, easy to find!

By far the best homemade mexican food i have tried. From the home made chips and salsa. We ordered flauta bistec and costillas everything was great. The chef gave us some freew quesadillas. Definitely a must to try in Visalla.

I haven’t had everything on the menu but I must say, when you can get food that tastes like home cooking and not prepped for fast food, that means everything to me. Food was home style cooked and good tasting and the staff was friendly. I recommend this place.

First time visitor and very pleased with the home style Mexican food! Thick, freshly made, corn tortillas that melt in your mouth. Well seasoned dishes, as we ordered the Costillas de Puerco (pork ribs in a flavorful red sauce) and Chili Verde (pork in a tasty and spicy green sauce). A small homey family venture that was a pleasant surprise and is well deserving of a 2nd visit!

The Barbacoa is one of the best I have tried. Also tried the Flautas plate, which comes with beans and rice and it was very good. Will be back tomorrow to get some more Barbacoa since they only have it on the weekends.
