Deli Delicious - Visalia

Wow! I never thought I would discover a sandwich place that surpasses Save Mart's, Deli Delicious, or Port of Subs, but here it is! The service was exceptional, and the attention to detail was impressive. I was disappointed that I forgot to ask for salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar (who does that?), but even without those condiments, I was thoroughly impressed! I can't wait to go back!

This place is incredible! My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The customer service was top-notch! We ordered Philly cheesesteaks, and we absolutely loved them. We’re definitely going back for more ASAP, haha! The owner was also very friendly and personable, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for an amazing sandwich. It’s hands down the best we've ever had!

I want to clarify my earlier review. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the staff; they were kind and welcoming. I had been misinformed about the cost by the person who paid for my meal. She estimated it at $11, including a drink, but it turned out to be just $7.50. Given that, I feel I received good value for my money. The salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious, while the chicken was tender and flavorful. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate gluten-free options at delis, and this place excels in that regard. I absolutely love pickles, and the ones here were crunchy and packed with flavor. The dressing surpassed the typical commercial ranch found in many restaurants. I'm grateful that the owner reached out to discuss my experience, allowing me to adjust my review and verify the information. I will definitely return to this restaurant the next time I'm in charge of my order.

I decided to take my 2-year-old out for a lunch date, and I couldn’t be happier that we chose the Pickled Deli! The customer service was outstanding — from accommodating special order requests for my little one to the friendly, cheerful demeanor of every employee. I felt at ease the moment we walked in. The sandwiches were fantastic, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and our food was ready in no time. I also noticed that every delivery person who came in to pick up an order was promptly acknowledged, offered water while they waited, and treated with kindness and respect. It’s heartwarming to see people just being genuinely good! To top it off, they sell Dana's cookies, which I used to love when I lived in Tulare. I truly appreciate that this owner supports other local businesses! Without a doubt, I highly recommend the Pickled Deli. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

On our way to Sequoia National Park, we stopped at Costco to fuel up. Feeling hungry, we searched for a sandwich shop and stumbled upon this gem. All I can say is, "Wow!" I ordered the #1 sandwich on Dutch Crunch with all the toppings, and it was fresh, delicious, and absolutely fantastic. The cashier was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food was great and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy fresh sandwiches away from the usual chain restaurants.
