Henry Salazar's Fresh Mex Grill

Every time I visit Visalia, I make it a point to dine at Henry Salazaar's Fresh Tex-Mex Grill. I've been enjoying their menu for over 18 years, and it has just been refreshed and revamped. The grilled Atlantic salmon with garlic lemon sauce is cooked to perfection, while the ribeye steak is beautifully juicy and pairs wonderfully with the double-baked potatoes. The goat cheese chili relleno is also a delicious highlight. These are just a few dishes worth mentioning! Don't miss their authentic Mexican offerings like the Super Burrito and various combo plates; they've consistently been fantastic for the past two decades. This restaurant is a must-visit when you're in downtown Visalia!

By far the best Mexican food I had out here. Don't look different! The lobsters of Enchiladas are a must. They are absolutely amazing. The drinks are also really good. But my favorite thing is the salsa... It's sooo good! It has a little kick. On everything the staff here is absolutely amazing and friendly.

I love the feeling of this place and we come at least 3 times a month. They accommodate my three year old and the dietary needs of my husband. The service is always good and their drinks are reasonably priced. The food is good. There is room to improve, and if you are looking to be impressed or eat something fancy, this is NOT that kind of restaurant. However, their carnitas is moist, spicy chicken tasty, margaritas strong, and chips hot. Good, solid, and consistent.

I didn't stay at the restaurant long, and I doubt I'll return. We faced a 45-minute wait at Alejandra, so we decided to stroll down Main Street. Salazars had an empty atmosphere, which made us a bit uneasy. They could really use a marketing update or something to attract more customers. Or maybe we’ll just keep it our little secret. Regardless, no one in our group of ten left hungry, and everyone raved about their meals. I had the chimichanga, and it was excellent. The top-shelf margarita was perfect as well!

Poor service . The place wasnt that busy and we were still waiting 30 min to order our food. I ordered the shrimp tacos which came with 3 small shrimp on each taco . There was no flavor in the tacos other than the corn tortilla. Warm beer . Not very satisfied at all .
