I waited about an hour to be seated here. I love coming to this place; it’s always been one of my favorites, but today’s experience was terrible. I ordered a tiger roll and a crunch roll. I've never had any complaints before, but the sushi wasn't to my liking. I asked the waitress, Diana, if I could replace the crunch roll with something else. She was extremely rude and passive-aggressive, even though I was respectful when I made my request. She said I could replace it, so I chose a shrimp tempura roll, which was good. When we were asked if we wanted our check, I looked at my bill and noticed I was charged for the roll I didn’t like. I asked one of the servers to get our waitress, and I questioned her about the charge. She said I had to pay for it because I ordered it, even though I only ate one piece to try it. She argued with me, claiming I hadn’t told her I didn’t like it, which I had. I asked for a manager or owner, but no one was available. About five minutes later, she returned and said she took it off the bill but warned that next time she would refuse our service. I think that’s extreme just because I didn’t enjoy one sushi roll. I definitely won’t be coming back. Sushi Kuu needs to retrain her on how to treat and respect customers.
We had the yakiniku beef bento set and a few sushi rolls. The portions are big and they taste delicious.
I love sushi and this place does not disappoint, some of the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. The butterfish roll, the gremlin roll, toro sashimi, and butterfish sashimi. The sashimi was off the hook and so were the rolls. Will definitely be back every time I’m in town.
Servings are too small for the price. Server's were confused. Parking: Went at lunch and parking was horrible.
