Outside on the terrace they were heavily smoking, so we went in. The waitress showed us a double seat opposite the toilets. We were seated and the next 15 minutes nothing happend. Yes, the personel was running around with nice smiling dishes, but no one came to take our order of bring us something to drink. Suddenly the waitress stopped at our table, looked us right in the eyes and barked: Boeuf Bourgion and rushed further. When she passend us again we asked for the menu. She pointes at a blackboard where a couple of dishes were written down in a very poor handwriting. Her whole attitude screaming: look for yourself, you foreign moron. Always thought that the customer was King. Not at Chez Maxime. We 've lost our appetite and went out throughthe backdoor. Advice: If you like a lunch the Fawlty Towers way, you 'll feel at home. To all the other: stay way..
Average rating seems a little unkind, as the staff were very friendly and good fun. Clearly popular with the locals for lunch, the prices were reasonable and the plat du jour of pork casserole was quite acceptable and of good volume. Great for a quick lunch.
It is a very nice establishment with people that greet you and the staff is really nice. The local community meet up here for socialising. Highly recommend! Have a nice drink and watch the world go by with an amazing view of the church (Notre Dame de I'Assumption) and water features.
Formulas noon 15€ epd quality and good service, a little noisy in the room sometimes, ideal for its terrace on the place of arms. customers of the inhabited. a little down the same (I ate 20x).
Brewery fast and correct. the dishes are good and well served but you should not expect the large kitchen; We don't come to a brewery for that!the staff is attentive and friendly with the customer: it's nice.
