Both looked unfortunately much better than it tasted. The salad tasted extremely bland. The pizza was wet and picky up to three inches to the rim. The heralded cook began to explain in detail ..... but STOP ..... dear cook! A pizza slice must not be soaked. This is when the vegetables are really grilled and the (frozen) spinach is well expressed. For this, the wood stove must be less hot so not the edge is almost black and the rest is still soft. Then the tomato sauce should be spiced .. BUT what do I explain ...... Pizza connoisseurs know: here is a layman at work. Sorry
Amazing food, great service staff, lovely atmosphere. One of the better restaurants I have been to in Holland. The reason why a star is missing we had booked a table of 9 with a work group. 3 individuals could not make it last minute. When we arrived and explained there were less people than booked. The chef actually came out and got quite annoyed with us publicly in front of other customers, and said we were affecting his livelihood as they turned others away. While I understand, the missing people from our group freed up one table, and this table was immediately filled with more customers. I think the staff would have had much better tips from our group had this embarrassment in front of other customer not happened. Our group works in a high profile service industry, so we are aware of what’s appropriate and what’s not. Nevertheless, a great night out and really impressive food and drinks.
The food is exceptional. I had not eaten this good in a long time! It's not cheap but worth the money. I enjoyed every bite! Will always come back
Lovely restaurant, amazing seating area and tasty food! Jure is an absolute lovely host so sat and spoke to us for ages about the area, the food and general chat. 100% recommend, love from Scotland! X
With the current owners, this place is not vegan adaptive usually pizzas are easy to adapt to be vegan, but not if the owners aren’t willing to adjust the toppings at all… we left and went to Don Giovanni’s instead on the boulevard, where we knew they’d be willing to do that!
