Tuk-tuk Thai - Volcano

This great food truck with vegan/vegetarian is offered near volcano national park. we wish we found it at the beginning of our trip, instead of at the end. we ordered the summer rolls, pumpkin curry and pad kee mao with tofu. we ate the summer rolls before we made pictures. they were fresh! the pumpkin curry was delicious. the pad kee mao my mannes was a bit too spicy for him on level 4, but the taste was great.

Only 4 stars, because happy cow will not let it have 5 stars as it is not completely vegan or vegetarian. all menu items can be made vegan by spending tofu as protein and i when the dish contains it. friendly service, decent prices, good food. they need to ask whether to add a spicy to their food, but they let them know. I asked about medium and was suggested to get mild as the thai chilis were very spicy. I wish I had gone for medium or medium plus as I had traditional Thai food before and enjoy the seasoned. The truck was driven efficiently with a smile. they understand vegan and claim that they do not use fish sauce. such a pleasant relief! some dishes have a hurry, and are clearly marked. tell them no ei almost everything is done to order so it is easy to change everything. we ordered a series of orders: pad see yu noodles, crazy (drunken) noodles, panang curry, spring rolls (fried,) pad thai and avocado summer roll (packed in rice paper). great price and portion size. will return definitiw.

I tried the pumpkin curry and it was delicious! The staff were friendly and willing to recommend vegan dishes.

You can easily find vegan options on the menu at this restaurant. I have dined here twice and enjoyed dishes like pumpkin curry, pineapple curry, summer rolls, and fried rice. The food was well-prepared with a good amount of vegetables and not greasy. The service was friendly and efficient.
