The room was very stuffy due to the underfloor heating that I could not regulate myself. Breakfast is €17.50 per person. I think that's a lot. Food drinks: The restaurant is cozy with friendly staff and delicious food. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic

Slept in this hotel last night after a day at Efteling. We arrived in the evening and when we entered the room we were met with a terrible smell of smoke. There was also no bath, which we had specially booked an upgrade for. Back to reception where we were told that we were lucky that another guest had canceled and a room with a bath was still available. The room was sooo hot. The heater was off but the floors were literally hot!! I also think the carpet tiles on the floor were from 1967. There was a dirty shower curtain in the bathroom. The remote was sticky! We slept partly with the window open, but that wasn't good either. The hear was broken and the pillows were not real pillows. It helped that we were really tired after being in Efteling all day. But this Fletcher hotel is not even a shadow of the Fletcher in Marknesse. We paid vd Valk price for a bastion-like hotel. Once but never again!!

The hotel is within walking distance of the center, which is really nice, because then you can leave the car there (in the center there is paid parking). Staff is friendly and breakfast is good. The room, on the other hand, is, sorry to say, really terrible. The floor looks like it's from 1988 and it's sweltering. Then you would say: turn off the heating, but it was off. The entire floor was sweltering. And we were there in early March... It was still cold outside. Tried to sleep with the window open, but the neighbor smoked some weed every now and then, so it came into our room, a Golf GTi driver apparently couldn't find a spot in the parking lot that evening either, nothing escaped our notice. In addition, the mattresses were already sagging, or they were too soft, in any case they did not support your back. Unfortunately for us, a disappointing experience. Rooms: So hot, the floor doesn't look good, the mattress is too soft, the bathroom is okay. Walkability: Center, shops, restaurants within walking distance. Rooms: 1 Service: 4 Location: 4
