Balcones Distilling - Waco

We had a wonderful tour! Erin taught us a ton about the unique ways Balcones creates their delicious spirits. If you are looking for a lot more than drinking in our tasting room, go to Balcones. They're fun, they're cool and they'll teach you a lot about the process.

The tour was great and the whisky was great. If we're in Waco next time, we'll be safe to stop!

I love Balcones and the guide was funny and knowledgeable, I cannot give the tour 5 stars because where far to many people in the group. Max Size I thought was 10 people, but we had 16 people and sometimes it was hard to hear the guide and the tasting room was absolutely packed with no shoulder room.

Absolutely the best distilling experience ever. My wife and I almost all have to taste their flavors. You even have cocktails and beer in the house. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable about his craft. It had the atmosphere of a local friendly bar, but with high cleanliness of a high limit. Family friendly and simply great. The tour was so worth asking Chris. There was nothing he was not willing to answer and you can joke with him. Bring your wallet because it will be hard to go without a bottle or two.?

Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting room. It’s a total vibe! Met some wonderful people there. Nick is very well informed and after a few questions he makes really nice suggestions. We will definitely return on our next trip to Waco! The Texas Coffee, Rudolph Rush and Texas Bourbon are a must try!
