Shoyu Ramen on the menu is inedibly salty. Server insists that it is salty because it is soy sauce based. However I believe that the recipe was not made correctly and they were reluctant to correct the issue. When attempted to add more broth to dilute the saltiness, half a bowl of more broth was not even sufficient to reduce the extreme saltiness. They could not even supply plain hot water, which is what is needed. Perhaps students working here are not experienced to maintain satisfied customers. I don't even think the owners of this establishment would find this recipe palatable.
Phenomenal Ramen!!! I lived in Tokyo for 3 years and I feel nostalgic every time I bite into their Ajitama eggs. And they can’t miss when I get to pick my own spice level. Don’t miss it!!!
Honestly, every time I come here I fall more in love. To sit at the bar and watch Naruto while eating the vest ramen I've ever had makes me happy. The staff are super friendly, and the food is so delicious! Atmosphere, taste, cleanliness, friendliness, everything gets 100%. 10/10 would surely recommend.
Great food, wonderful service. The bao buns are phenomenal! Gene helped me and my girlfriend order, he was very genuine and helpful. He gave many suggestions and explained nearly the entire menu with ease. We walked around Union Hall while waiting for our buns and he actually went out of his way to find us and bring us our food. I've never had such polite service. I went back for seconds. 10/10
