Contribuisci feedbackThere is no space for prams or pushchairs at this restaurant, and I am concerned about how wheelchair users are treated and if they are considered a fire risk as well. There is no mention of this on their website, which is disappointing. It is clear that they do not welcome very young babies, which is disappointing. Other smaller restaurants are able to accommodate this issue, so there is no excuse. As locals, we will not be returning and will not be giving them any positive feedback. Shame on you!
We visited Pickwick Inn and Oliver's restaurant for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, it was full so we had to come on a different date. The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar area with a wood burning stove and admired the great Dickens murals. There was a good selection of wines and menus with specials to suit all tastes. Despite being busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was very well cooked and nicely presented. We were pleasantly surprised when the staff and manager sang happy birthday to my husband and brought out a personalised chocolate brownie dessert. We are looking forward to hopefully returning for my own birthday in November. A big thank you to the hard-working chef and kitchen staff. Ian and Ruth Shearman.
