Ho Kong - Wading River

We had a great dinner from here last night! We weren't sure what to have but the young lady at the counter helped us with suggestions. We wanted to have something different and they didn't disappoint. We started with Dim sum. Then had delicious hot and spicy beef, and the shrimp with chili sauce was amazing. We had to have the hot and sour soup, which we already loved. Ribs and egg rolls is aways an add on. They gave us almond cookies as a nice surprise. Leftovers for lunch today. We will definitely order from them again.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Today 2 customers were inside without masks on waiting for their food. I waited outside for my order but will no longer order from this place. They just lost my business.

This is by far the worst Chinese food.. or food in general, that I've ever had in my life. I might have well just took 50$ and ripped it up. It's greasy and completely disgusting. My kids spit out everything they put in there mouths. The soup was horrible, whole thing went in the garbage. Chicken and broccoli was 98% broccoli. Chicken was spit out.. whole pint in the garbage. Chicken with garlic sauce tasted like chicken with sugar sauce, something that isn't supposed to be sweet in the first place, garbage. The lo mein was burnt.. never had that happen.. garbage. Egg roll, salt in shell, garbage. Curry chicken with onion.. again 98% onion. Fried rice, dried out and bland, garbage. I was afraid to eat anything else. It's just so greasy too. Even though they don't make the fortune cookies, I threw them out too. I wasn't taking the chance. It's so dirty inside I'm surprised they haven't been shut down by the board of health yet. It's a real shame because I lived in the area my entire life and when I was younger, it was the best place around. Now, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. This was my official last chance with them. The time before was worse, but I decided to give them another shot out of convenience and I'm sorry I did. Never again...

Eggplant with garlic sauce was too thickly-breaded and soggy. Shrimp was okay. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait for my food, but it ended up being over 30 minutes. Okay in a pinch, but there are other places I'd go first.

General Tso's chicken is good for carry out.
