It does look a bit rough on the outside, but the most wonderful gems look like a rock until checking out whats inside. There has not been one dish that is less than very good. If its busy then sit and wait. it will be worth your while. Its BYO and prices are so very fair.

This is a family run business. Excellent food at a reasonable price. We had a sit down banquet for 5 and it must be the cheapest in town.The only thing I was disappointed with is that they do not have tea on the menu as we had a birthday cake with us.Will go again as it is nice and close to home.

We ordered a special fried rice, combination satay and honey chicken for takeaway.When we picked up the order the place was full of people dining, we thought we must have finally found some good Chinese food in Darwin...Unfortunately not. The fried rice lacked flavour, the honey chicken was soggy and the satay was the most bland and tasteless chinese dish we have ever had. Full of cabbage and Bok Choy, very little meat.At $15.50 and $16.50 for the meat dishes, we felt extremely ripped off considering the taste and quantity we received.Not sure where people who have left previous reviews have eaten in the past but we have had way better Chinese food at half the price and there is no way we would return here or recommend to family and friends.

Its tucked away, hard to find and worth the effort. Great, well cooked suburban chinese. Its cheap, cheerful and BYO. Service is usually quick and always friendly. We adore this place.

It was my first time here last week and believe me when I tell you this, this restaurant definitely dishes up some real and authentic Chinese food! You won't find many Chinese restaurants like this in Darwin until you look towards these suburban outlets which in my opinion, don't get enough recognition. From the looks of it, this is a small family business run by a Chinese couple (both being head chefs). I think the much preferred option is to call up beforehand to order the dishes you want so that way you don't need to wait for long when you dine in, or pick up.Anyhow, my family ordered the salt and pepper bugtails, stir-fry eggplant, stuffed tofu puffs, and Peking duck; all which was flavoursome, tasty and resembled dishes in China.
