El Palenque - Wahiawā

This food was absolutely amazing. genuine Mexican cuisine, handmade chips, handmade salsa, which was hott! my favorite Mexican place on the island. total hole in the wall, with only 4 tables. Take it if you want!

Small place, large taste hands down, the best quality Mexican restaurant dishes. everything is very authentic, tasteful, great recipe, ingenious salsa, real steak, tasteful beans and well cooked Spanish rice. naja regular customer 2-3 x per week

The authenticity is in comparison to many other Mexican joints. eating is delicious and gives in any case pueblito vibes. it's better

The best Mexican food ever. my man lived in at least 7 states and he claimed that this place had the best Mexican food he ever had. he is a huge carnivore, so I was surprised when he said he only gets the cheese enchiladas. the salsa was super sharp. eating was fresh and hot right from the heart. the waitress was with everything at the point. with only 6 tables in the shop she was the only one that ran the front and she worked hard. my man said eating was so good that he would get a job there to learn how to make her eat. the only junk thing at this place is the parking space. there are only street parking.

Ordered this place on Uber Eats after wanting to try a new mexican place and I wasn't let down! We ended up getting a good sampling of the menu.. Tacos, burritos, torta, asada fries and a gordita. Everything was outstanding. The price was great for the serving size too. We'll be back!
