I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Despite being quite busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the loco moco and the hand-packed hamburger patties, both of which were excellent. The garlic chicken was delicious, and I enjoyed the two-piece plate with chicken katsu and teriyaki broccoli, which was also very good. Our total, including a credit card surcharge, came to just under $50. We opted to eat outside, where we noticed some rather plump green flies, but that didn't detract from our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!
My family was among the first customers when this restaurant opened over 20 years ago, back when it was a haven for islanders. The chef became friends with my mother, and now that I'm working here, I understand why the food is so delicious.
Eating is good here, but hers always closed so early. I wish they were at least open until after 9 maybe.
Huge variety of local style choices. Has everything, Korean style food, Chinese style, Hawaiian food. Quality on par with places like L&L Drive Inn or LocoMoco. Not sure if it's a requirement for Drive Inns to be grimy and unkept inside, but this place is no exception. Got burger and fries, neither disappointed. I'd go back if in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip. Good enough for Wahiawa quick bite, better than going to McDonald's.
