So happy that Gannon’s is open again. Although the restaurant is very popular for it’s incredible sunset views, we booked a lanai table for just after sunset to avoid the crowd. We had the Cashew Crusted Kanpachi and the Blackened Citrus Ahi as well as splitting the Grilled Caprese Salad. Everything was fresh and expertly prepared. Service was spot on even though our server was taking care of a large party and several other tables. Whether you’re here on vacation or lucky enough to live here, a meal at Gannon’s is a must.

Food was outstanding. We had the hamburger and steak special. Absolutely delicious. We used to come here when it was Seawatch. The ambiance is lacking, especially for indoor dining. It feels like a clubhouse or sports bar and not the elegant dining it once was. I would order food to be picked up but not dine in.

The food at Gannon’s was good but not great, but remember this is Maui. The service at the bar was excellent. The host and our server was just OK and going through the motions. The location is lovely if you can get an outdoor seat.
