Food was okay, could use so TLC . Service excellent. No dine in.No frills, local food.Maybe try breakfast next time, looks like they have the basic dishing managed, not so much for they're plate lunch.Rogue Chef
If you are looking for a hole in the wall location with ono local grindz at a fantastic price, this is the place!Located in what you would call downtown Waimanalo, this unassuming little restaurant is tucked away in a little corner directly behind Jack in the Box!The local food served here is amazing and the portions are HUGE!Service is light but extremely fast! I say light because the front counter is run by a little Filipina lady! She has her process of taking orders, calling out your order to the cook and serving you efficiently down to a science! I don 't know what her name is but I call her Ate (ah-tay; which means Aunty in the Filipino language) and she is just a charm to deal with!I Love this place and give it my 5-Shaka rating!
Omg. This place was a find. You'd never know it was there if not for trying hard. The food was amazing. Truly charming little local place with amazing plate lunch!
I got the pork gisantes (sp? and banana lumpia. Now I have to get someone to roll me back to Hale’iwa bc I am so stuffed. 1000/10 recommend. Don’t be dissuaded by the exterior (or interior for that matter . Has no sign on the strip mall but it’s next door to the Hawaiian clothes shop. I ate outside and stared at the mountains while stuffing my face.Parking: 20+ spots immediately next to the shop.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s flat to enter, no steps up from the parking lot or into the shop. Plenty of maneuver room for a chair and has a double door entry. Small lip at the thresh hold but should be able to bumper over it. Counter is tall though.
