The place was overpowered by a musty smell of dampness and mold, and the atmosphere felt dark and uninviting. The staff member at the café didn’t even acknowledge us as we walked in. Thankfully, we discovered Waimate Kitchen in a beautifully renovated building at the other end of town. To attract customers, it’s essential to eliminate that unpleasant odor, update the space, and offer a warm welcome.
Great room, really comfy pillows. Clean and bright, just wanted I wanted. Lovely helpful staff. Definitely be back
The meat was full if gristle otherwise not too bad..
Wonderful food and so helpful with hosting our education sessions. Recommend highly
Whilst the personal service couldn't be faulted they were very helpful, polite friendly the level of hygiene was another matter. From stains on our duvet cover, to clean but musty smelling bedding, missing skirting boards in our room, dusty shades, skirtings etc., shared bthrm facilities with 4 other rooms (that wasn't clean dust, pink stains in the grout, condensation dribbles on the walls), to an incredibly dangerous broken lamp that was an electrocution waiting to happen dirty floors at least in the kitchen. This place has so much potential but unfortunately fell well below the bar.
