Forc - Waimea

I ate there alone a few nights in a row since I was staying at a nearby hotel. The food was memorably good, and the servers could not have been nicer, I was never ignored and no one hovered, it was all very pleasant. It was busy every night . There are more items on the menu that I want to try. The host or manager kept everything running smoothly and remembered me each time I came in, as did the bartenders who brought my food. The chef is a first class cook. All-around superb experience.

Just had a wonderful meal. The service was beond excellent!! Thank you, Zoey. We have been to FORC several times, and this was by far our best meal! The bone marrow was delicious. The clams/mussels were perfectly cooked without being overcooked. 6 oz. filet mignon was was more than 6 oz. and perfectly prepared. The chocolate creme brulee was rich and decadent Mahalo!

We had a wonderful dinner here and decided to return the next evening. Our server was Gabby. She was perfect. Timing, professionalism and courtesy was exemplary. She made it seem effortless and made every thing happen. The grass fed steaks are cooked exactly as ordered. The cut of meat is generous and tender. Sides were good not exceptional. The lamb was over cooked and gnocchi mushy. Miso ahi was great but would have liked a bit more miso flavor. Cocktails were hit and miss but overall good. Needs more consistency to be awesome. Overall we'd rather eat here for a nice meal than in Waikoloa, Kona or Hilo. We really like it. Can't wait to return.

We got there 10 minutes before opening, they were very friendly and let us in early. Best food we've had yet on the island, I especially recommend the Portuguese clams, uniquely seasoned. Coffee rubbed steak was excellent. Handcrafted cocktails, we had non alcoholic ones. A restaurant with high end food and drinks, non-snobby service, reasonable prices for this kind of place. Wish we lived closer.
