Plant Cake Bake Shop - Wake Forest

I’ve come here plenty of times for the baked goods, but the vegan soft serve is hands down my favorite. Nothing beats a chocolate/vanilla swirl of soft serve with sprinkles in a waffle cone! My family and I also enjoy trying the different types of cookies, cupcakes, muffins, and donuts from Plant Cakes. I love supporting a local business like this one!

Expensive, but delicious. Had a berry muffin and lime coconut donut. Thankfully, not absurdly sweet! I don't like too-sweet things. This was perfect. The lime donut has great lime flavor, while most places just hint at the lime.

I’m not vegan or gluten free, so I personally felt the cupcake I got was a little dry and bland. However, I’m guessing for a vegan/gf cupcake, this would have been above average.

We are finally able to get good desserts for our daughter with a severe dairy allergy. This is the first year she's ever had a nice cake for her birthday. It's pricey, but everything vegan normally is. We're very happy with this bakery.

Great! The carrot apple muffin is one of the best baked goods I've had. The donuts are lighter than a typical donut, it tastes like they are made with less fat or oil in the dough, which is refreshing. The only down side is how far it is for me to drive there. Definitely will go again!
