They are accommodating of different foetuses requirements/fussy eaters and the food is fresh and it’s so reasonably priced. I have been to many places looking for a decent Sunday dinner but retro roadhouse beat them all. Would 100% recommend this gem and if you like classic cars then you will enjoy the fleet of them often on show in the car park!
Six of us made a reservation for afternoon tea, which was served on a couch in the parking lot (the parking lot is a bit small but there is street parking available). The tea spread was quite generous with a variety of delicious items. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food provided. Stew and Jane were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them, even with some guests arriving late. It is impressive how they manage to create such fantastic food in a compact kitchen. I plan to bring my well-behaved dog with me next time, as it is great that pets are allowed.
My wife had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to visit today. Don't let the initial appearance deceive you. The owners were very busy, as the place was packed. We waited a bit for our orders to be taken, but it was definitely worth it. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order. I ordered the Corned Beef and Potato pie, while my wife had the Mushroom and Leek pie. Both dishes came with plenty of chips and peas for three people. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning. Parking is limited, so we were able to find a spot on the street.
Everything made is gorgeous. Cannot fault anything if I was asked to. Great couple very friendly. Will go again and again.
Wonderful brunch as always. Food cooked fresh and Jane and Stu are so friendly and obliging. We will be back
