Fenwicke Teahouse - WALCHA

We recently enjoyed a romantic dinner at Le Marche Italian restaurant in Walcha, which felt like a little slice of Sicily. The restaurant offers a set 4-course dinner menu for $75 per person on Friday and Saturday nights, with dishes that change every couple of weeks. It's recommended to inform them in advance if you have any allergies. While the fixed menu and price may not suit everyone in this small country town, we felt it was a good deal for the high-quality ingredients used in the delicious authentic Italian dishes prepared by the skilled and passionate chef Luke. He took the time to explain how he utilizes fresh local produce and traditional Italian techniques, drawing inspiration from his own family recipes. The atmosphere of the restaurant, housed in one of Walcha's historic buildings, is quiet, cozy, and welcoming. It's a great addition to the limited dining options in town, providing a special place for occasions. Special thanks to our attentive waitress Zoe. We applaud Luke and his team and highly recommend trying their delightful Italian dishes when visiting Walcha.

Wow. Walcha is lucky to have such a great little gem. Date night was made better with a delicious 4 course meal. Nothing was difficult for the chef (due to some allergies) and the waitress was very helpful. Will have to stay longer next time so we can try the lunch menu

The dining experience was exceptional. The Italian food was delicious and authentic, served in a cozy setting. We could taste the love and care in every bite. A perfect 10/10!

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. A big thanks to Luke and Anne for providing us with an amazing dinner. We were completely overwhelmed today and completely forgot about dinner. You both saved the night for us and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you so much!
