Christos Pizza - Wallingford

On Saturday night we had a rehersal dinner at Christos.Our party was large so Chris generously closed his restaurant for us.From beginning to end all I could say is perfection.Not only was Chris and Andrea so easy to work with but once we got there the service and food exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Christos and look forward to coming back.A heartfelt thank you to Chris and his amazing staff..

Truly excellent New Haven style pizza. Thin crust. Delicious tomato sauce. We ordered pepperoni with hot honey. Very, very tasty. Really as good as any of the three famous places. They tend to cook the pizza such that the crust has a bit of a char. I love it but others may want to ask for it to be less well done. As the big sign in the bar says “It’s not burnt…it’s well done”. Nice contemporary dinning room and separate bar. Highly recommended. If you’re a discerning pizza lover go to Christo’s.

I dined here for the first time on a quiet Tuesday evening. There was only one other table occupied besides ours. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The two waitresses were extremely friendly. We ordered a salad, garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, and desserts known as "bombs," which are similar to funnel cakes. Although the food took a little while to arrive, it was worth the wait because everything tasted pretty good. The croutons in the salad were not great, but the garlic bread was delicious—perhaps a bit too cheesy, but the flavor was spot on. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly golden and crispy, and the marinara sauce was light and fresh. Overall, it was a good experience.

This was my first visit to Christo's, and I had a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Taylor, was extremely polite and attentive. The decor and overall cleanliness of the place were impressive. Most importantly, the pizza was fantastic! It had a perfectly thin crust with delightful bubbles from the wood oven, topped with fresh ingredients. The selection of craft beers on tap was an added bonus. I can't wait to return!

I recently visited from New Jersey, and I have to say wow! The pizza had amazing flavor and perfect crispiness, and the service was really friendly. As Arnold Schwarzenegger famously said, "I'll be back!"
