They offer traditional Vietnamese dishes but with more vegan options than most restaurants. I ordered the Veggie Pho, and it was excellent—the broth tasted distinctly homemade compared to other Pho I’ve had. I also tried the mushroom steamed rolls, which were beautifully presented but unfortunately lacked flavor. My waiter was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd say it's a delightful place.
My daughter discovered small pieces of chicken in her veggie lo mein. The waiter had initially set the dish up with two servings, took one back to the kitchen, and then brought her the veggie lo mein. It seems they must have mistakenly prepared chicken lo mein and just removed the chicken pieces before serving it. I brought this to the waiter's attention. When we received the bill, we had to inquire about an adjustment. They only credited us the $1 price difference. I really wanted to give this place a positive rating, but I'm quite disappointed.
We dined here while traveling and, despite some negative reviews, we experienced great service and delicious food. The Pad Thai wasn't quite as spicy as what I had in Texas, but I assume it's considered spicy for Connecticut. There were no mistakes with our order.
They love the vegan pho and the shitaki necks.
