Contribuisci feedbackMiyagi is the only real Japanese place in and around 50 km, which naturally brings a huge bonus. every other sushi store I tried in and around is a discrepant compared to the real deal in japan, only hogsam when it was still open could keep. miyagi offers the right selection of sushi, sashimi and other traditional Japanese dresses. the quality is good, the location and the service are only average. eating does not offer real innovation and the prices are somewhat high. I would like the owners to deal with their guests a little more open and funny, because a good sushi place also lives from the interaction with its guests.
Went to dinner on a Thursday evening with friends. the person who had invited me lived many years ago in tokio and told us that eating would be excellent. when I entered the restaurant, the facility was typical old German, and if I hadn't known better, I would have thought I was in a German gas house. the personal was however Japanese, and there were already two Japanese customers eating in the restaurant, which gave me the indication that eating was probably authentic. the menu had a large selection of authentic Japanese classics, including sushi, sashimi, yakitori, green tea ice etc. they also served Japanese beer. I ordered the Bento box (cost: 40 euro) and a Ichiban beer from the fass. the Sashimi ports were large and the Miso soup was well seasoned. I found my eating well, but not exceptional. the service was very good. it was very expensive, especially when you ordered a la carte. they only accepted cash. Overall, I would return to the restaurant, but I can't say it felt like the best Japanese culinary experience I've ever had.
Were there for a nice lunch. they serve authentic Japanese food prepared by japanese. they have a nice selection of food, including sushi, but also serve many other dishes. good food if you want to eat here in the evening, I recommend a reservation. the place is very small.
I don't care about the interior and find it in order if the guests of a restaurant do not have to pay the toilets of gold. for me is much more important what is on my teller and what is in my glass. all sushi I had were very good and fresh and I got a nice suppe with venus mussels. but unfortunately uni and unagi nigiri were missing, I ordered toro (with lots of fat, 7 euro per piece) and Chu-Toro (with little fat, 6 euro per piece). first I was told that there is no toro, there is only Chu-Toro. I doubled my order from Chu-Toro. a little later I was told that there is no Chu-Toro, but only toro, so instead I took toro. what I got was fresh and good, but absolutely leaner. there was no fat at all, so I wouldn't call it toro and demand 7 euro per piece ... but I'm sure that this was a mistake and no typical situation was own bottle top champagne of a local producer (because they didn't have it on their wine card, but I wanted to try it). my total bill was over 90 euro, but I was eating very well. here is only accepted cash to avoid going to a cash machine and back, make sure they have cash in advance.
Finally found a sushi bar in this area that is great! Now I don't have to drive all the way to Mannheim to get great sushi
