Hamachi - Walnut Creek

The food was absolutely amazing! A big shoutout to the sushi chef for their incredible work. It was a girls' night out, and the staff and owner were incredibly pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great service, excellent drinks and food and a fun, upbeat, late night bar atmosphere (even earlier in the evening. Lots of younger people but also some families. We had a wonderful time there everything was delicious. At some point, they brought us an un asked for bottle of complimentary sake, a lovely touch.

Sushi rolls good. Cocktails OK. HEAVY ON BITTERS. Staff needs better direction for promotions. They use imitation crab in all sushi rolls. Probably won't be back

We ordered two dishes: the Lion King roll and grilled garlic ginger shrimp. Everything was exceptionally well-prepared, with flavors that truly delighted the palate. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. However, the only downside was that both our server and what I believe was the manager kept coming over to ask if we wanted to order more. While it's good to ensure customers don't have trouble finding their server, we felt a bit overwhelmed by the constant interruptions. I definitely suggest trying the food, and perhaps consider sitting at the sushi bar for a different experience.

The food was just okay. Many items that are included in a dinner at Hama in Pleasant Hill had to be ordered separately here. The waitress was eager to help, but she didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu. Although there is a small parking lot, it’s not large enough for more than a few cars, so we ended up parking at a meter on the street. Disappointed in Walnut Creek.
