Starbucks - Walnut Creek

I didn't catch his name, but a kind man gave me an extra lemon loaf today. I visit this location almost every day, and the drive-thru is always quick. Thank you, everyone!

I've visited this Starbucks a few times, and my initial experiences were quite positive when they first opened. Located in a quiet area near other shops and restaurants, the drive-thru adds to its convenience. However, during my most recent visit, I was disappointed. I specifically wanted a strawberry refresher, which typically gets shaken like iced teas. When I walked in, the barista was preparing my drink but simply poured it over ice instead of shaking it. When I inquired if they still shake drinks, she mentioned that they do this only sometimes. Having previously worked at Starbucks, I'm aware that there's a specific standard for preparing shaken drinks. After checking the reviews, it seems this location isn't performing well. Next time, I think I'll go to the Starbucks on Lucas and Mount Diablo instead.

The drive-through situation is also chaotic and needs a major overhaul; it blocks parked cars, and they should consider closing those parking spots behind the line. Overall, this location is such a mess that I would recommend avoiding it. Additionally, I want to emphasize: DO NOT come here if you plan to work on your phone or computer. The Wi-Fi is practically non-existent, which is really disappointing. Starbucks is typically one of the best places to work or study, but this location makes it impossible. I'm shocked that this franchise has been able to operate at such a low standard for so long.

I understand businesses need to increase the price of their product from time to time, but this location increased their prices unreasonably. My grande coffee used to cost $2.95, until yesterday. Now it is $3.45 a .50 cent increase for a plain coffee.I visited another location in San Ramon, and their increase was .20 cents. That is an increase I am willing to pay. I would hate to see what all those specialty drinks now cost.

3rd starbucks I went to and there's 3-4inches of empty space on my iced venti matcha.
