1987 Beedle House - Walnut

For our group of four, we ordered two pork buns, sesame noodles, a cold seaweed salad, the 1987 beef noodle soup (a Taiwanese specialty), and Napa pork dumplings. We probably didn’t need to order the sesame dumplings, but they do offer takeout boxes. There’s also a deal for 55 dumplings for $20, but if you dine in, it's 14 pieces for $7. The cold seaweed salad was refreshing, but I was surprised to find that it contained shredded chicken as the protein. I’m not sure if it was tripe or something else, but I enjoyed it. The dumplings were my favorite—juicy, plump, and perfectly cooked. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was decent; I liked the texture of the noodles, but it didn’t have any vegetables. The beef was tender, and the egg was cooked just right. The sesame noodles were served cold and had the right softness, but you need to mix in the sauce when it arrives at your table. Self-serve cold water is available, and there are plenty of seats. A TV in the corner plays Chinese shows, adding to the atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and personally brings the food out as it’s made. Overall, I really love coming here for authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

The restaurant has transformed from its 1987 origins into a noodle spot, and I must say it serves the best noodle soup I've ever tasted. There's really no competition. The prices are quite reasonable too.

I had a wonderful dining experience! I traveled from Colorado for a vacation and was craving authentic Asian cuisine, and Beedle House truly delivered. The food was fantastic, and the customer service was outstanding!

Fantastic noodles. Asin name. Great service. Perfectly encapsulated Chinese atmosphere. Pretty cheap with good supplements. (Dry the egg and the tomatoes! Cash Only under $25, but there are two banks nearby and grocery store, the money back!

I was their first customer on opening day . The cafe is small but very nice with a limited menu . I ordered the beef noodle stew and the pork belly sandwich they described as a Chinese hamburger . They were both very good , will return.
