We had a meal before going to cinema... I really enjoyed the Fish Pathia.. its not on the menu but they accommodated the request..goes well with garlic nan bread.. yummm!!
We'd driven past Cinnamon Court a few times on the way to the cinema and decided today to stop and have dinner before a film. And I am so glad we did. The interior is really lovely. The decor was minimal, with fresh lighting and a black and white theme. I can imagine it would be a lovely place to rent out for a party, if they do that. We were seated on a raised platform on a romantic table for two and started with some poppadums. We were generously given a substantial pickle tray rather than the diddy portions some other places give. For mains, we shared chicken tikka pathia, chicken rangeen, paneer naan and a pilau rice. The pathia was delicious perfectly sweet and sour with a little spice. We have a lot of pathias and this was definitely a good one. The rangeen was new to us shredded crispy chicken with a mango and cinnamon sauce. We adored this and would definitely look out for it again. The pilau rice was cooked with saffron, which was a nice addition, and the naan was great. I also had a house white wine, which was perfectly fine. The staff were really nice, especially the waiter who brought us our mains. He was very smiley and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to Cinnamon Court.
The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. The hospitality is great, and there's free parking available as well.
I visited this curry house for the first time as it was conveniently located on my route, and I found it to be quite welcoming. However, I would say the overall experience was a bit lacking. The curry was just okay, and there were only two rice options available. The naan bread, on the other hand, was excellent. There is an Indian restaurant nearby that is worth trying as well. On a positive note, the prices here are very reasonable.
