We've been looking for a decent chippy where the fish is well cooked and the batter is crisp. We appear to have found it! First visit tonight. My OHs response was he couldn't fault any part of his meal high praise indeed from him!

This is the best fish and chip shop I've been to in a long time! It's worth traveling past probably 10-12 other shops to get there. Mario's is simply the best. The staff are great with kids, always making them giggle and taking time to speak to all customers. The service is top-notch. This is a great spot for a dinner takeout, with prices ranging from £1-£10 per person. The food is delicious, earning a 5-star rating, as does the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying their fish and chips.

Absolutely amazing food, really friendly staff who go above and beyond by wrapping food in tinfoil to keep it warm on way home or adding a lemon wedge and tartare sauce for the fish. We were recommended this place and it’s the best recommendation we have ever had! We will definitely be back xx

On Thursday night, I had a Magic Bag at this restaurant and I have to say it was incredibly good value. The portions were generous and there was a great variety of food. It easily fed four of us with leftovers to spare! I highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
