Fat Jack's - Walterboro

I didn 't really know what to expect from a place that has Fat in the name. I thought ut was going to be more fast food but I was pleasantly surprised by this gem that is right off the highway and an easy and convenient stop when traveling. Delicious food and wonder southern charm from our waitress (who earned a large tip from us). Stop here instead of McDonald 's or BK and you will be very glad you did.

The ONLY negative thing I can say is that they over dressed my Caesar salad. There was a small pool in the bottom of the bowl. The lettuce was fresh, no brown spots. I had the fried shrimp. Loved it! The batter was light and crispy. I've eaten here twice. Both times the food and service was wonderful! The first time I ate there I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Plenty of filling. Everything was cooked the way it should be. Onions and peppers perfectly caramelized.

Very nice. Friendly staff and the fried shrimp and hush puppies we're just perfect. The catfish was not quite crispy but very good.

Very fun place to eat. Great food. I had the blackened burger and it was amazing.

I'm surprised they have any customers at all. If I wanted reheated frozen food, I could spend a lot less in the freezer section at Walmart. How are y'all still in business? ??
