Gustazo Cuban Cafe Waltham

I stumbled upon Gustazo unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. Despite the old appearance of the storefront, we had a wonderful outdoor table with charming decorations. The drinks were fantastic and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the small plates - we tried several and they were all delicious! The added bonus of free parking in the back lot was much appreciated.

The server was extremely accommodating and very sweet. I sat at the bar and had a great time. The food was a bit salty, but still delicious.

I don't even know where to begin with this amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the service – all unbeatable. My only complaint is that I got full too quickly because I wanted to try everything on the menu. Despite appearing small from the outside, the restaurant is actually quite spacious once you step inside. I was looking for delicious Cuban cuisine as well as a sexy ambiance with options for indoor and outdoor seating, and Gustazo Cuban Kitchen Bar in Waltham, MA delivered on all fronts. As one of the few authentic Cuban restaurants in the Boston area, they offer a variety of Cuban dishes including vegetarian, meat, seafood small plates, and larger plates.

Great food and atmosphere. Our main server seemed to also be tending bar. As such, he was slow checking in us. The expediters brining out our small plates were very quick and efficient. They nicely ordered how our dishes were brought out and spaced themso we could enjoy each dish fully. This was my second visit and my husband's first. We do plan to go back.

Visited Gustazo for the first time and I'm totally impressed with the level of quality and creativity offered in this unique and vibrant restaurant. It was totally packed to the gills for Thursday dinner, and it took a bit of time to be seated and getservice, but was well worth the wait! Our server, Dee, was exceptionally cheerful, accommodating and attentive. The dishes thatmy lovely date and I ordered were simply friggen delicious! I had the flank steak; absolutely one of the most tender and wellseasoned steaks I've had in years, along with irresistible rice and juicy roasted plantains. Just a great value for the level ofquality and attention to detail. I'm looking forward to visiting Gustazo many times in the future!
