Naked Fish - Waltham

We have been frequent visitors to Naked Fish over the years. To my knowledge, they are the only restaurant that offers a grilled seafood salad, prepared just the way you like it. This time, my 17-year-old daughter chose to celebrate her birthday there. She enjoyed the smiling and pumice grilled dishes. My husband ordered the Parmesan-crusted tilapia served over wilted spinach, a dish he’s had before and always finds consistently delicious. The staff were attentive, courteous, and friendly. We visited on a weekday, and it was quite peaceful. In the past, we've hosted large family gatherings in the back room. They also offer a good selection of non-fish options, and plenty of vegetarian choices to satisfy my sister, who is vegetarian and always leaves happy with her meal.

I was very disappointed with Naked Fish Restaurant. I was hoping for a vibrant Cuban experience with tasty food, but the meals were bland and the service was only average at best.

The dining experience was excellent. Initially, the service was great, but as the restaurant got busier, our server seemed to vanish. Perhaps they should consider increasing their staff during peak times.

Good menu with a lot of choice, loved the fresh fish.

The reviews on OpenTable were much better than the place actually was. Food was mediocre and seemed like they aim for quantity over quality. Server was pleasant but not knowledgable and definitely not attentive. Had to repeatedly track her down for water refill, drink refills and check at end.
