Subway - Wandong

After dining at Subway locations throughout Melbourne, I have to say that the Wallan Subway is quite disappointing. I wish my local Subway could be as good as others I have visited. The service lacks in many ways during my visits - the staff is not very friendly, lacks enthusiasm, and isn't very helpful. The employees here need more motivation, as they seem to lack enthusiasm in their work.

The photo on the menu of the Wallan Subway does not do the food justice. The portions of meat in their sandwiches are generous. The service is consistently fast and friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant can get busy during peak hours, but it is worth the wait. We always enjoy our meals at Wallan Subway.

During our travels along the east coast of Australia, we have tried various Subway locations, but must say that Wallan's subs are the cleanest, freshest and most amazing. This restaurant is always spotless and everything is as fresh as can be. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This has become our Go-to-Popway option for lunch. the service is friendly, they are always fast and eating is fresh. that is all they can ask of a franchise:

In the end Subway is Subway and a Sub is a Sub but when you order a twelve inch Sub and the toping finish an inch from each end the 12 Sub is no longer. I have bought this issue up with the staff and...the 'Manager ' only to be flipped off and treated like an idiot. I understand that Subway 's are franchised and it is in the hands of the owner operators to do the right thing, but ... if Subway (Inc) don 't police their standards by way of Secret Shoppers, etc. they are supporting no better than the shonks that run this store. Give it a big miss for multiple reasons and head to the Subways down the road. The one in Wallan Shopping centre is just as bad. Lift your game Subway or look forward to a visit from the Authorities over fraudulent marketing.
