Looks like they had just acquired neighbouring lot unless they did not furnish it the same as it appeared incomplete. Decor not very inviting.Service was slow. Had to look around to get attention when finally older lady approached. Lovely enough and she apologised. Other staff seemed young and incompetent or inexperienced. Under my plate there were ants on the table. Husband had ant in his drink water. The red curry with crispy pork was good. Curry on the mild side. Crispy pork was crispy. Nice chunky pieces. Good size servings. Served with vegetables. The massaman bbq lamb was ok. Sauce too sweet. 3 pieces of bbq lamb. Served with only potatoes and onions.Rice servings per serve is too small. Tasty but not an authentic thai experience. I guess you could call it fusion. Both pork and lamb not cooked in the sauces but added at the end on top of the sauces thats why pork is crispy and lamb still bbqed. The pork was the better dish.
This was not a great Thai dining experience! The curry puffs lacked any curry flavor, the coconut rice was overly sweet, the red curry was too mild to be considered a curry, and the crying tiger beef was tough and chewy. On the bright side, the deep-fried spring rolls were decent.
The décor is simple but has upgraded since our last visit. The menu options are impressive with great quality and flavors, all at reasonable prices.
I've been in a few times for lunch and have enjoyed every meal so far, the specials are excellent value and the staff are very friendly. I usually go with a workmate, but have been in on my own and was very comfortable as a solo diner.
