The setting is do warm and inviting, which was just what we needed as the rain started pelting down. The food has an Italian flair though the German flavor is certainly not absent. Pastas are always fresh, al denté, and delicious. Pizzas are thin and tasty and can be eaten as an appetizer or a main course. There are also main dishes with those divine German potatoes that melt in your mouth. It's just on the edge of town, easy to get to, and worth checking out.
We found this lovely Italian and although they were busy they found us a table their food is excellent and the owner is very friendly and on our last visit she remembered that we had been there before and even what we had ordered
We, a group of 16 people, with a reservation were made to wait 2 hours for our meals. During this time, several smaller groups were seated, served and left. The response from the staff, when we complained, was that it wasn't their fault that they were overbooked and understaffed. In fairness , I must say that the food, when it finally arrived, was good but the length of the wait and the attitude of the staff completely ruined our evening
The food here is nice and it seems truly family run,... Which I like! A good place where I like to go when I am in Wangen.
