Cafe Walfisch - Wangen im Allgäu

Ich war im März 2017 das erste mal in dieser Konditorei. Sehr schöne Kuchenauswahl, nicht ganz billig, aber Qualität. Die Bedienung konnte den Kuchen bei der Auswahl auch gut beschreiben. Das Plätzchen im Hinterhof war schön ruhig und sonnig.Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Schlichter Gastraum sehr freundliches Servicepersonal, sehr guter und frischer Kuchen, nicht ganz billig

Ich mache nicht viele Worte, es war dort sehr freundlich, urgemütlich, superlecker, Preis-Leistung top. Was will man mehr? Also, schaut rein...es wird euch gefallen.

We stumbled upon Cafe Walfisch, near the St. Martin's Gate, while exploring the town of Wangen on June 1. A cheerful waitress settled us in with menus (not in English, but if I hadn't been able to speak German, the young wait staff could have assisted) and a big bottle of water. My friend ordered the salad plate and was thrilled by a spectrum of salads, including green, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, potato (with vinegar not mayonnaise), and tomato. I decided on the Flammkuchen, a thin-crust pizza, with pepperoni, bell peppers and herbs. The pepperoni was the best I've had, period: lean and very flavorful (warning: peperoni, spelled with 2 rather than 3 p's, means pickled or hot peppers, not sausage, in German usage -- in this case, I'm talking about the sausage!). I also ordered a coffee and it came with a house-baked cookie that was so good we ended up buying a small bag of them. You enter this cafe through its bake shop, which also makes chocolates. To top off our experience, I left my parka hanging on a hook on the wall and remembered and returned for it two hours later: it was still hanging there, undisturbed. A small gem in a beautiful little city.

Wir waren bisher 3 Mal im Café Walfisch. Jedes Mal genossen wir Cappuccino, doppelten Espresso und Beerentorte. Wir wurden bisher immer freundlichste bedient. Besonders beim letzten Besuch ist mir die freundliche und gesellige Art der Bedienung aufgefallen. Ein Grund dafür könnte auch sein, dass im Café nicht so ein großer Betrieb war. Bisher war es immer total voll und dann sind natürlich die Bedienungen gefordert. In Schlagworten ausgedrückt:< Ambiente: je es geht< Café: sehr gut < Kuchen: ein Traum!!!!!!
