So: Once badly received by the boss of the house because we had not reserved falls under the heading: Everyone has a bad day. However, if you give him another chance to be a good host a week later, but this time you are still more unfriendly, even though you have reserved a table for 22 people, you would prefer to leave the place. We were told by 15 hungry children. As the crowning of the feast we were allowed to calculate our own account, as the waiter was unable to do so. The food was okay! FAZIT: No star for this service desert!! !

The food was good, the service extraordinarily SCHLECHT! Already during the reservation we were made clear that a group of about 20 people is unfamiliar. When we arrived, we were told by the flower that the number of children is more problematic. There will be too much space for other guests. The children left their places quite quickly. The freed tables remained unused until our farewell! The coronation was that we had to break down the bill ourselves to the present. Conclusion: the owner can be happy that he has no competition on site. So I encourage all the gastronomics to open an Italian restaurant on Wangerooge. Is the food right, the competitor does the rest of himself...
The judgement of my two previous reviewers is nothing to add!!!
We were here with three people today. Ambience: Recognisable by Italian orientation in the guest room, nice furnishings. Very useful gastronomic space. Our table stood directly to the doorway into the entrance (with the counter area. As the doors were all opened, we sat very tight. We were there at the family traffic time at about 6:00. It was very full... and there was a rain coming and going in the one hour of ours there. This shows the good appeal of the guests, probably not least because there is something on the map for small and large. Overall, it was very restless and little homely, as one knows from his favorite Italian. Maybe this is too much at that time. Sure, at this time there are many families with (also smaller children). I'd take a look at the restaurant later in the evening... Maybe it's a little quieter and more comfortable... Or is this perhaps the first thing to do... Service: The gentlemen and the lady were absolutely not unfriendly! But there was missing the certain something (sometimes a smile or a nice set beyond normal copying. Yeah, it was full, but he has to deal with it differently. On frequent entry to the kitchen, he made this vocabulary all honor. He stepped the swinging door like Old Shatterhand each time with a foot inward. He finally had his hands full. 8- He also supported this wild-west bar by chewing casual gum at the table of the guests. An anecdote on the edge: In addition to our table at the entrance of the guest room there was a four-headed family looking for a free table. The waiter spoke to them and went straight to the table of a couple sitting on a foursome. He pointed to a small two table in the middle of the room. I heard a sorry one. The two of them took their plates with the half-spiced pizzas, their drinks and kindly changed the table. The completely unoccupied free four table with the RESERVIERT sign.... right next to the table with the couple... also became the next 30 min. not occupied by other guests (like the 30 min. I am not sure how I would have responded to the call of the waiter... but certainly different from that (too nice couple. Frequentness, thoughtlessness or stupidity?... I don't want to evaluate at this point. Waiting time: It went jerking! Approximately 15-20 min. Generally very beautiful, especially when you are hungry (they were we, but you can literally feel that it is about the frequency of the tables. Food: The pizzas were good! The thin, crispy dough on the edge was very good. The cover was also absolutely fine. Salami/shrink in acceptable quality (yet no fresh goods, plentiful and with actually fresh mushrooms! The second with Ruccola, Parmesan was also reasonable and tasty. Only the olives on the Margherita fell very tastefully. The tomato sauce was unfortunately a little fad and a bit too little and from the cheese on all three pizzas much too little. Conclusion: A pizza that we would eat all three again... but there's something going up qualitatively.
