The food is great, I got the pork rice dumpling and I like how convenient it is to have this breakfast item. It's well seasoned and there's a lot of texture happening in this rice dumpling. Too bad because they forgot to make my order, so I had to follow it up with them.
Good breakfast spot in Taipei in Ximending area. Also I think open for 24 hours so convenient for your Taiwanese breakfast fix. This is classic Taiwanese breakfast fare. Got the salty soy milk, youtiao Chinese doughnuts and soymilk for dipping, the sesame bun egg sandwich. They’re all good but not really the best in Taipei…
Highly overrated place! Not recommended. Worse than SG Geylang’s Yong He Dou Jiang (though already bad).. Don’t be duped by the high number of ratings! Soya bean milk: 4/5 probably the best amongst every other things here All the others are not good too…turnip cake does not have enough turnip bits, onion pancake almost tasteless, dumplings skin too thick too much flour, etc etc so all tastes average (or worse). Place is also abit messy and cramped. Price on the expensive side too for this kinda standard. Outlet is ran by Vietnamese workers (who looked overworked). Should have read more reviews before coming to this place…Disappointed. How to order: Find a seat. Grab a metal tray, and take (any) food you want that are placed on the counter, then pay at cashier. Self service for your own utensils and condiments.
Overrated breakfast shop, you can get better breakfast elsewhere. You can queue up to pick whatever you would like to eat on your tray and pay at the cashier counter. Long queue and limited seat, not enjoyable dining environment. Cost around NTD 325 for 4 food and 2 drinks.
