Barbeque Nation - WANNIASSA

This would have to be the best Butter Chicken I have tasted in all of the Indian restaurants I have visited throughout Eastern Australia! Absolutely fantastic but not only that, their other dishes are just as delightful. The restaurant is quite simple in setup, their wine list could do with some improvement, so if you have a favourite, bring your own, but the food is to die for, not only eating in, but as takeaway or delivered, it is always a great meal.

Took may family here to what looks cheap and tardy from the outside since it's attached to a mall -- but the food was delicious and good sized portions and the owner cheerful, helpful and lovely. butter chicken was excellent, but the vindaloo and rogan josh was superb. the spices were perfect. Recommended for lovers of Indian food, without the ambiance.

Food is good, servings are what can be expected in most Indian restaurants. Service is good however pricing seems a bit high. Paying in the area of $22 for a bowl I believe is getting a bit high.

We went along last night with two friends and was very impressed with the quality, taste and presentation of the food; each of us really enjoyed our chosen meals. We had a nice leisurely meal and were the last to leave; we will be back soon. I can see why this restaurant has gained such a good reputation and awarded the best Indian in Canberra. We are frequent diners and visited many Indian restauants including Pearce and I consider Barbecue Nation the best.
