Yamato Hibachi Steak House - Wantage

The food here was versatile and delicious! I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi with fried rice and noodles. It had so much flavor and taste and everything tasted very fresh! My husband ordered some sushi rolls which were delicious and had the right amount of crunch and seasoning. Nothing was bland at all! I would say everything overall was very good. The only thing is the service could be better. But I will definitely be returning for the yummy food!

Love their sushi!!! Hibachi and chicken teriyaki is excellent too. I ordered different hand rolls and sushi for my fathers 81st birthday and took it home. What a hit!!!! He was so happy. Food that we ordered did not meet our expectations. The main dish was too salty, did lack of individual flavor, the salad had unmatched dressing. The place is dark and probably not renovated in years. The staff looks busy and not interested in the customer. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Service was really bad. Took way too long to get our hibachi grill underway, which was lethal for our party since we had young kids. No attempt by staff to remedy situation.
