Buying 3 kebabs that should have cost £21.50 the guy serving me said £26 very quickly, I gave him £30. He gave me £2 back and then when I checked my change, I said, only £2? He said, oh, sorry sorry, and gave me another £2 back. I saw this trick being done on Scam city where they charge you more, give you the wrong change, and rather than you challenge them on the original price they confuse you by short changing you and emphasise on that. You won't challenge the original price because you forgot about that in the moment. The food was rubbish and the smug look on his face along with his friend laughing and speaking in Turkish, they forget, some of us speak little bits of Turkish or we can record the conversation and Google translate it. We're not stupid. We watch your conduct and give you a chance to be honest, if you choose to deceive us then that was your own choice. You get reviews like this and very bad publicity. Check the prices, check your change, record the conversations and translate them. Beat them at their own game. Pay by card and stop money laundering. That way you have proof of purchase and you can challenge them on it. Don't support cash only, they do it for a reason. Reply to your comment... Having a business from 1996? How come you don't have your own shop by now? How does that change the conduct of the employees ripping me off? Why should I feel obliged by every single corporation to leave a good review? I only leave bad reviews because I have been ripped off, lied to, or manipulated. You never denied that this happens at your stall. You didn't even say that you would speak to the employees to make sure correct change is given. You just make up excuses as to why we should accept that behavior. However, stealing is against the law. It is your job to make an excellent kebab. Its not rocket science. You don't have to do a 3 year NVQ on making kebabs, so there is no excuse. When English customers arrive at your van, it is polite that you all speak English so that we can understand you. If I get ripped off and they start laughing and speaking Turkish, it's the same when Polish or Dutch people laugh at you, shrug their shoulders and look at you like you're stupid. Don't rip people off, then you won't get bad reviews. Simple. Take care
