Channingville Deli - Wappingers Falls

The food was good. I expected cheese on the egg sandwich and there wasn't any. I also requested the homefries crispy and they were not cooked fully. They were soft and saturated with hot pepper

The sandwiches are generously sized (I tried the Italian combo and it’s quite hearty!). The service is personable and friendly. This has become my new favorite deli, without a doubt.

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. However, I found the sandwiches to be a bit on the smaller side. I remember when sandwiches used to be substantial enough to satisfy both lunch and dinner—half for lunch would fill me up, and I could save the other half for dinner. I miss those days! Nonetheless, the ambiance of the place is pleasant, and it's conveniently located with a variety of snacks and essentials available.

Jay has been managing this restaurant since before I was born, and I can't recall a time in my life when I didn't have a strong desire for one of his bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches.

This charming deli has a friendly small-town vibe and is conveniently located about a mile from the New Hamburg train station, right next to the firehouse. They now accept SNAP benefits on most items, which is great to see. The food is good, and the prices are reasonable. The owner, Jay, is a laid-back guy with a bit of an old-school approach. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a bite!
