They had a lot of options to select from salads, sandwiches, smoothies, juices, açaí bowls, and breakfast wraps. Theyeven have South American food flavors. We ordered Venezuelan sandwiches that had plantain instead of bread. It was deliciousand super heavy. My husband and I shared the sandwich. Then we ordered sunshine juice and one energy shot. Everything wasgreat. Also, they use compostable containers.
A lovely and well appointed restaurant. This one has great variety to its menu and the food is well prepared. The Asian ginger salad I had delightful complexity to it! My only criticism is that while the rice bowl is great (both the rice and black beanswere perfect), even a simple one with a modest amount of your choice of protein can push $15 very quickly. One with a nicevariety of fixings will blow past $20 in a blink. Thankfully one bowl can be shared between 2 people with a modest appetite.
A must-visit spot if you are in the Hudson Valley area. This Dominican/Venezuelan/ healthy-eating -inspired spot serves up well-sized portions at decent prices. Try their fresh Acai bowls, any of their arepa selections, or their patacon sandwiches (aCaribbean staple). Their fried yuca is amazing. We 're sending all of our friends over!
First time here and definitely will not be the last! This place is like striking food GOLD!!!! The food is delicious, the juices are fresh, location is great and the staff is so nice. What else can you ask for? Definitely will be going back to keep tryingother items in their menu!
The Green Bowl blew me out of the water with their food and attention to detail! I had a bit over a week to food for an office party for 30 people. Due to the office COVID policy all 30 meals had to be individually packaged. I reached out to The GreenBowl on a coworker?s suggestion. He said that not only was the food delicious, but it was also gluten free, with vegetarian andvegan options-perfect for feeding a crowd with a variety of dietary requirements. The owner got back to me very quickly and wasextremely generous with the menu options they could provide on our budget. Yami promised that she could do individual packagingand she totally delivered! I expected having to sort out 30 clamshell boxes. Instead, we received 30 individual bags eachlabeled with the content and stuffed with a menu. The best part? All the packaging is recyclable/biodegradable! Now for thefood: For most people this was their first time having an arepa. We ordered pork, chicken or vegetarian arepas and rice bowls.Everyone that had an arepa said they were crispy, juicy, and packed with filling. The rice bowls were a very generous portionand every component had great flavor. The sauces (creamy avocado, chipotle mayo and mojito) were all delicious. I can?t waituntil I?m down in Wappinger Falls to have an arepa!
