We all loved everything we ordered - the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The service was quick, despite the fact that the restaurant was not very busy (likely due to the Easter weekend). We enjoyed learning about the owners' history and were impressed by how new and spacious the restaurant was due to their expanding business. I'm confident we will return in the future.
I am known to be hard and very picky when I go for dinner, something I don't do anymore, because I found it very hard not to be disappointed when I order food in Toowoomba. Last night we went through this new place in CBD and decided to try it. I'm so glad we did it. The service, the atmosphere and the aromas are great. Food and experience... Well, I have seen the word fine food and I agree absolutely. It is not like the opera house or Pallazo Vercace, but still very high standard of service and food. We ordered our food and I asked for a little extra hot. Shortly before serving, one of the waiters cultivates a small plate with 2 spoons so that we taste the curries to make sure they were to our wishes. And OMG were perfect. This was undoubtedly made with fresh ingredients and made to order. We also ordered garlic naan, which was cooked for perfection and with roasted garlic against the usual cheap garlic butter / margarine you drop from the often baked bread in other places. This bread had a touch of a thin crispy outer and beautiful fluffy inside. The wine, again a big surprise. We are well known to be wine snobbs (hahaha and usually do not think much of a restaurant wine under $80-100, but the Shiraz we ordered was a perfect match with the food and very tasteful. A BIG thanks the staff for all the beautiful service and food and a really great culinary experience.
Friendly staff, efficient service and good food. It was nice to get a taste of our chosen sauce before our meal.
Over from the UK to guest family we go to place for Indian food is Ice n’ Spice in Toowoomba. You have moved the premises since we visited pre Covid, new venue in Main Street/Shopping/hospitality area. Greater, better, marter restaurant all recently modernized, but the food quality had...not changed, best Indian in Toowoomba, do not miss this restaurant, you will regret it
The food was delicious and it was the best garlic naan I have tasted. Friendly and attentive service.
