We just ordered our first meal from Don's Kitchen. We were very impressed with the good quantity of vegetables, and the high quality of ingredients. The size of servings is excellent too. The Thai fried rice was fantastic, the kids loved the chicken in plum sauce too. The dumplings tasted like they were definitely hand-made as they lacked the usual flavour enhancers of store bought Asian foods. I enjoyed them immensely. The home made curry was also fresh and excellent with high quality ingredients. All the dishes tasted fresh, and seemed to be without excessive additives and flavourings. I chose this place as it claimed to be MSG free, which is a rarity. Thank you Don.

Me and a good friend of mine come here nearly every week. We both agree that not only is this some of the tastiest and freshest Chinese and Asian cuisine in Newcastle, but holds up against anywhere in Australia, and overseas, as both of us are well traveled. Service is prompt and efficient, and also personalised. I highly recommend the Don 's! .... 'The Pearl of south east Australasia! '

Really tasty genuine Chinese food. Excellent service from the front counter to the cooks who when the waitress was busy brought the food out to our tables. really friendly, good place to go for a relaxing dinner and a few drinks. cheap too. Ill be back....many times

The food here is really very good. Fresh flavours, and the sauces are not cloying as with so many other Chinese restaurants. Don and his staff give excellent service.
