I was in the middle of nowhere and needed a vegetarian meal. So I google searched and Kate's Kountry Kitchen came up. I was a little hesitant that the restaurant is named KKK. But I assumed they were trying to be cute and this was...a unhappy accident. So I ordered a sandwich and salad and it was delicious! The country store inside was adorable. With so many cute things to buy. The restaurant looked nice. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back!
This used to be an amazing place for breakfast when Katie ran it. Stopped there in June of this year and was thoroughly disappointed. Obviously the place has changed hands or cooks or both. Although we used to stop every time we went to Sudbury we won't be stopping again
Ate here multiple times when working in the area and got a delicious breakfast every time. I suggest the pancakes, the French toast, or anything with the toast made from homemade bread. Had ham, sausage and bacon on separate days and like the ham the best. Yes service was a little slow but this is a small café. If you want fast food go to Tim Hortons. If you want a good hearty breakfast go here!
Everyone is always raving about this restaurant, I don't understand what the hype is all about. I've tried multiple different times of the year and multiple items on the menu, big groups of friends, small lunch with my mother, or solo, and it has been a let down everytime. The breakfast sausage is like a flying disk of poor flavoured meat, and another time I tried the chicken sandwich and a soup and the chicken wasn't thoroughly cooked, we had split it, so when we cut it in half it was noticeable right away, and the soup was not homemade: it was like Campbell's alphabet soup with some veggies added. I've tried too many times and wasn't satisfied with anything. And the high prices compared to other restaurants in the area is just also a negative. They do seem busy though, but as I mentioned I think the hype is the cliche of the word of mouth.
